The Lion King 

The Lion King. (English: The Lion King) is the 32nd animated film feature film from Walt Disney Pictures, released in 1994 is the nineteenth highest grossing in history, the third animation highest grossing of all time, losing just to Frozen - A Freezing Adventure and Toy Story 3 3.2 

The film is inspired by the play Hamlet by Shakespeare; in Disney's Bambi; the stories of Joseph and Moses, the Bible; and primarily on the classic story of Osamu Tezuka: Kimba the White Lion. The success led to a theatrical adaptation on Broadway since 1997, and two sequels, The Lion King 2: Simba and The Kingdom of The Lion King
